In rural late nineteenth-century Australia, Captain Stanley and his men apprehend two of the three notorious Burns brothers, Charlie and Mike. The Burn gang is accused of brutally attacking the Hopkins family, resulting in the rape of Mrs. Hopkins and the murder of the entire family.
